Oh yes! Play the song ‘Deep burnt’ is a club and everyone will be caught in it’s utterly timeless and atmospheric melody. Overall a decent EP with the first two tracks being more upbeat and fast-paced making the third one a very unexpected sound to listen to. There is always something that makes me want more of this type of music.

Artist: Pépé Bradock
Genre: Deep house, nu-jazz, breakbeat
Release: 2001

    1. Burning hot

The guitar riff is something to watch out for in this song, and so are the deep piano chords. The vocals keep exclaiming: ‘Hot, hot, hot, hot, hot, hot, hot, hot, hot, hot, hot, hot etc… suggesting that the theme of the song is something hot.

    2. The right way

This is not my shit, but this is somebody’s shit who I respect. A nice mix between breakbeats, jazzy percussion and deep house synths and vocals

    3. Deep burnt

This is an eleven-minute masterpiece based on a string sample of Freddie Hubbard’s ‘Little sunflower’. I don’t want to go into great detail since you should listen to this song and have your own experience with it.
